Head of UK Local Events for Women in Logistics

It is so exciting that Michelle Scott, Director of Total Compliance, has agreed to become the new Head of UK Local Events for Women in Logistics, which has now become part of the CILT (Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport).

Michelle has been involved with different business networking groups for some time and has always seen the value in meeting new people and what networking can do for you as a person and for your business.

After a change from working with a national networking company that had a large variety of different business involved, Michelle decided to look into networking within transport and logistics.  This led to the Women in Logistics.

It has only been a short period of time, however, Michelle has taken over the role within the committee of Head of UK Local Events and is extremely excited about taking this on and growing the group within the industry.

Michelle says that “networking helps you stay current with the industry you are in and can help you share your knowledge and experience with others”.

Michelle has also been attending the FTA East Midlands Freight Council and has found it so useful to hear about changes in the industry first and grow her knowledge to share with clients and colleagues.

Total Compliance is happy to be promoting Women in Logistics and meeting so many new people and wish Michelle every success with her new role along with growing and developing Total Compliance.

Women in Logistics organise events and they are open to men and women to attend.
