DGSA Training Course

Our Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor Course (5 Days)

Introduction to the DGSA Course (5 Days)

In line with the EU Directive, all businesses involved in the road and rail transport of dangerous goods must appoint a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA).

The DGSA is responsible for advising the head of the organisation on the safe transport and handling of dangerous goods, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations. To qualify, a DGSA must pass exams conducted by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), representing the DfT & DSA.

DGSA Training Course Overview

Our comprehensive 5-day Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) Course is meticulously crafted to thoroughly prepare candidates for the Road (All Classes) Examinations. This intensive training program focuses on equipping participants with a deep understanding of current road transport regulations, ensuring the safe and compliant transportation of dangerous goods.

This course is ideal for professionals involved in the transport, handling, or management of dangerous goods who are seeking to enhance their expertise and achieve DGSA certification.  Please note that Rail and Inland Waterways are not covered in this course.
