What is FORS Silver?

The Silver accreditation is awarded to operators who maintain their Bronze accreditation and are able to demonstrate that they monitor the emissions of their fleet, have extra safety equipment fitted, and all drivers hold a Safe Urban Driving (SUD) certificate as well as industry relevant e-learning.

This all adds up to more efficient driving, which is better for the environment and safer for vulnerable road users.

There is no face to face audit for Silver, as it is all done electronically.

Policies and supporting evidence are uploaded to the FORS website and once submitted, applications are reviewed by Senior Auditors.
