Spot The Tanker Breaches
Did You Spot All Three Tanker/Yard Breaches?
Spill kit is obstructed / not accessible
The spill kit is placed next to other equipment and close to the wall/fire point area. Emergency equipment needs to be clearly accessible, visible and ready to use.
Paperwork is hanging externally from the vehicle
There is a document attached near the rear of the tanker. Transport documents need to be stored securely and kept accessible in the correct place.
Driver is distracted in a busy yard area
The driver is walking through the yard while looking down at paperwork close to vehicle movement areas. Yard safety, pedestrian routes and situational awareness all need to be considered in a busy yard environment.
