Risk Assessments

Risk Assessments need to be in place for all Operators, but FORS are looking for specifics.  They must still show the three-part process that includes Identification, Analysis and Evaluation.  The risk assessments will need to include the below list.  Don’t forget, if you hold a Waste Carriers Licence you will need to have the correct Risk Assessments in place to cover this. 

  • Slips, trips and falls.
  • Manual handling
  • Lone working.
  • Substances hazardous to health.
  • Access to vehicles and working at height.
  • Working around moving vehicles             
  • Reversing, manoeuvring and turning
  • Coupling, uncoupling and towing trailers
  • **Transporting Waste** if Waste Carriers Licence in place
