ADR Core, Packages & Tanks Course 5 Days
Total Compliance is running this course in Coalville, Leicestershire. All drivers within the scope of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (Driver Training) Regulations 1996 must be trained and hold an ADR Vocational Training Licence issued by SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority).
The course is structured as follows:
5 days classroom training coving all classes of listed below – 4 days for the classroom course and 1 day for the exams.
Each day the arrival time is 8.00am and we start at 8.30am. Refreshments are provided throughout the day, and a light lunch.
What Does the Course Cover?
- Core Module
- Packages Module
- Class 2 – Flammable and non-flammable gases
- Class 3 – Flammable liquids
- Class 4 – Flammable substances
- Class 5 – Oxidising agents/organic peroxides
- Class 6 – Toxic and infectious substances
- Class 8 – Corrosives
- Class 9 – Miscellaneous substances
- Tanks Module
On successful completion of the course and on passing the examinations, you will be issued a Driver Training Certificate by the SQA. This will arrive up t0 6 weeks after you pass the exams.
Compulsory refresher training and examinations must be completed within the five year expiry of the date of issue of the original certificate.
What happens on exam day?
The exams will take place on the last day of the course.
All exams are taken under exam conditions with an invigilator present.
